Running With Purpose
Running has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember, not just as a sport, but as a way of understanding the world. I’ve always believed that running is more than miles and medals; it’s a vehicle for social change, a metaphor for life, and a space to be vulnerable and courageous about the things that matter.
Building Community
In 2017, I founded Running for Real as both a podcast and a business, creating a community where conversations go far beyond racing and training. The Running for Real podcast has grown into a space for authentic stories about running, climate action, and social justice. Over time, I’ve shifted from pursuing competitive success to embracing running as a tool for connection, healing, and advocacy.
Life Beyond the Finish Line
Originally from St Albans, England, I now live in Chattanooga, Tennessee with my husband Steve and our two daughters. Away from the microphone, I’m a mother, partner, and storyteller who continues to explore how small, brave steps can add up to big changes in our lives and in our world.
